A lot of work goes into farming, so here is a snapshot of a few things we do.   | What's new with Reid Angus?Baby News: Baby Elias Grant Reid joined the family September 29. He is doing well, along with mother.  Burning Down the House: Remember that tune? Thanks to the Roxana Fire Department on burning down our old farmhouse on the property. It's all cleaned up and ready for spring planting. New Barn Going Up: We started on a new barn which will house all our freezers and retail area for the beef business. Hopefully we can get it finished around the holidays. We will keep you updated on when it will be open for business. Baby Calves coming in February: While the cows are in their dry period "3rd trimester", due dates on the first calves will be around Valentine's Day. More news and updates to come. |
